Celebrity Traitors Reveals First Look At Series 2

Hold on to your fringe. The BBC has released a first-look teaser for The Celebrity Traitors Series 2.

In the clip, which dropped on August 27, host Claudia Winkleman asks the room for a moment of silence for the celebrities about to play.

“Thoughts and prayers,” she says, as the assembled Celebrity Traitors Series 2 cast look distinctly uneasy.

This year’s line-up includes Amol Rajan, Bella Ramsey, James Acaster, James Blunt, Jerry Hall, Joanne McNally, Joe Lycett, Julie Hesmondhalgh, King Kenny, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Maya Jama, Michael Sheen, Miranda Hart, Myha’la, Professor Hannah Fry, Richard E. Grant, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Ross Kemp, Sebastian Croft and Sharon Rooney.

Expect New Twists

BBC entertainment director Ed Havard hinted that the new series will push the format further, saying things will happen that “you didn’t think could happen on Traitors and have never seen before.”

Series 1 was a major hit. Alan Carr won after weeks of deception, and the series set records: the finale reached about 15 million viewers, and across the run the show averaged 14.8 million per episode.

While we don’t have an exact release date, the BBC have confirmed The Celebrity Traitors Season 2 is “coming soon” to BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
