The Celebrity Traitors Series 2 hasn’t even begun airing, and fans are already sharing their predictions.
Viewers got their first proper glimpse of the new season on Sept. 15 after the BBC dropped the full trailer online.
The new trailer shows this year’s star-studded cast get stuck into the most treacherous game on television, as host Claudia Winkleman once again oversees proceedings.
Fans Predict Claudia’s Traitor Picks
One heavily featured player in The Celebrity Traitors teaser is actor Michael Sheen. “I am a huge fan of this game… now it’s my turn,” he declares in the trailer — leading many fans to believe he will be selected as one of Claudia’s Traitors.

On Reddit, user Cute_sun3943 wrote that Sheen is “guaranteed” to be picked as a Traitor in the first episode, set to air on October 1st.
“Do you think he’d dominate as a Traitor or get targeted early for being too smart?” another user commented, while one fan on X wrote, “Based on this trailer, I bet Michael Sheen is a traitor.”
Some Fans Are Worried For Sheen
While many predict The Queen star will find himself in the Traitors’ turret, others think he might be in trouble as a Faithful.
“He’s gonna be the target of another Big Dog Theory,” one fan predicted on X. “Clever people tend to be murdered first,” another viewer pointed out on Reddit.
The Celebrity Traitors Series 2 Premiere
The show’s much-anticipated second run begins on Thursday, October 1st on BBC One and iPlayer.
In addition to Sheen, the Celebrity Traitors Series 2 cast also includes Amol Rajan, Bella Ramsey, Professor Hannah Fry, James Acaster, James Blunt, Jerry Hall, Joanne McNally, Joe Lycett, Julie Hesmondhalgh, King Kenny, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Maya Jama, Miranda Hart, Myha’la, Richard E. Grant, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Ross Kemp, Sebastian Croft and Sharon Rooney.
Meanwhile, the non-celebrity version is thought to be filming currently and is expected to return in January 2027.
