Maura Higgins Reveals Rob Rausch’s secret Traitors Game plan

The season might be all wrapped up, but runner-up Maura Higgins just revealed how The Traitors US Season 4 winner Rob Rausch managed to slither his way to victory with a secret game plan.
In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, the Love Island alum explained how Rob “mimicked” her own low-key, seemingly naive Faithful persona against her in the castle.
“I didn’t know until recently. He tried to mimic my ignorance about the game because he knew I was a Faithful and that no one suspected me. He knew that that’s all he needed to survive, along with me telling him everything and helping him win at the end. But it was very smart. I wouldn’t have thought of that,” she revealed.

The Traitors Finale Betrayal
The strategy paid off dramatically in the finale. After weeks of building trust, Rob promised Maura he would "take care of" fellow finalist Eric Nam, leading her to believe they would split the $220,800 prize as the last two Faithfuls.
In the Fire of Truth round, Rob voted to banish Eric instead of ending the game, eliminating him and leaving just Maura and himself.
Then came the reveal: Rob confessed he had been a Traitor from the start. Maura's reaction was pure shock. "I just kept waiting for him to say, ‘I’m joking,’" she later recalled. "I was in complete disbelief... Then I got a bit angry, and then maybe a bit sad, and then I was just like, ‘OK, well, fair play. Great game.’”

During the tense Traitors finale, Maura went on to label Rob a “bad, bad man” and joked, “You’re never gonna have a girlfriend after this.”
Despite the betrayal, Maura took it in stride, praising Rob's gameplay while holding him to his reunion promise: a Hermès Birkin bag from his winnings.
Rob delivered, gifting her the designer purse live on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live shortly after earning her full forgiveness. “He’s forgiven,” she said, “but as I said at the reunion, he’s fully forgiven when I get my bag.”
