Survivor Host Jeff Probst Teases Traitors Crossover

Fans are hyped for a Survivor x The Traitors crossover — and longtime Survivor host Jeff Probst is playfully entertaining the idea!

It all stems from The Traitors Season 4 winner Rob Rausch getting a huge push from fans to join the island game.

In a March 2026 interview with TODAY, Rob commented on possibly starring on Survivor: "I think if Jeff [Probst] ever called, maybe I would do it." He added, "That’s one of the only reality shows that I’ve ever watched of my own volition, and it is good and it’s fun."

Probst later responded to Rob’s comments on the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, revealing that the Love Island alum would need to be a tad more enthusiastic if he wants to woo over the Survivor casting team.

“You know, Rob Rausch has got a good committee, a good PR team out here,” he said. “All I know is—he's kind of like a, 'maybe I'd do Survivor.' I just want to say to Rob: it's gonna take a little more than just casual interest to do our show.”

That said, Probst is intrigued by Rob: "Yes, he's a very compelling guy," he continued. "We just try to look at everything and step back and say, how does it fit? Does it fit this season? What does it bring?... The Traitors is bringing up some really interesting people, and the gameplay is revealing some really compelling people.”

Probst finished up his Virtual Reali-Tea interview with an epic tease of a full Survivor/Traitors crossover: “Who knows? There may be a future collaboration. Rob on Survivor and then Alan Cumming, and I will host together. I don't know, maybe that happens!”
