The Traitors & Celebrity Traitors Renewed Until 2030

To the delight of reality TV fans everywhere, the BBC just announced that The Traitors and Celebrity Traitors are staying put until at least 2030.

In a fresh three-year deal, the psychological masterclass of lies, murders, missions, and epic roundtable showdowns will keep gripping the nation on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK.

The Traitors will storm back with Series 5 in 2027, then Series 6 in 2028, Series 7 in 2029, and Series 8 in 2030. Meanwhile, the star-studded spinoff Celebrity Traitors will drop Series 2 later in 2026, followed by Series 3 in 2027, Series 4 in 2028, and Series 5 in 2029.

Filmed at the beautiful Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands by Studio Lambert, this Dutch-born format has exploded into a global obsession.

The Traitors UK Series 4 smashed TV ratings with an average of 12.5 million viewers, as did The Celebrity Traitors Series 1, which averaged a mammoth 14.9 million viewers — peaking at 15.4 million for the finale.
