Cast member Julie Hesmondhalgh (of Coronation Street fame) was the first famous player to tease the upcoming series. “I can't tell you anything except that it's an extraordinary experience,” she revealed. “Not at all what anybody imagined it to be. It's going to be a good one, I'll tell you that!”

The Celebrity Traitors Series 2 Release Date
An exact release date is yet to be confirmed. However, the BBC confirmed in the Celebrity Traitors cast reveal promo that Series 2 will arrive in Autumn 2026.
The BBC first announced the show would return for a second outing in November 2025, shortly after the Series 1 finale that was watched by more than 15 million viewers and saw Traitor Alan Carr outsmart his fellow players to claim the cash prize for charity.
