“In 2026, the doors of the castle will be opened again to welcome celebrity players to the game to see who can charm, who can scheme, and ultimately who can survive in series two, which promises to be just as unmissable as the first,” the BBC teased in a statement.
As fans sit tight for any updates, some have begun speculating when filming will take place. One fan noted on X that Claudia Winkleman’s new BBC chat show wraps up in the week commencing April 20th, and if The Celebrity Traitors Series 2 keeps a similar schedule to last year, it could begin filming that same week.
The Celebrity Traitors Series 2 Cast
Like the release date, the Celebrity Traitors Season 2 cast remains tightly under wraps. Host Winkleman recently teased the new line-up during an appearance on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden. “I can't say anything, but the cast is extraordinary,” she revealed.
She again discussed the Series 2 cast on BBC’s The One Show on March 25, telling host Vernon Kay the line-up is “certainly” full of “big dogs.” She added, “They had to repeat [the cast] twice to me. Because I was like, ‘Huh? Are you joking? Come again?’ We're incredibly lucky.”

With the show set to begin filming in Spring 2026, many big names are now reportedly in the mix — most recently BBC presenter Amol Rajan. “Getting Amol is a massive coup. He is used to holding the country’s sharpest minds to account and spotting a lie from a mile away,” a source told The Sun.
