Maya Jama may have accidentally spoiled her role in The Celebrity Traitors Series 2.

In a new interview with Grazia, the Love Island host opened up about filming the BBC reality show, which wrapped filming earlier this year and is set to air later in 2026.

Did Maya Slip Up?

Traitors contestants are sworn to secrecy before the show airs. However, her recent comments have left some fans reading between the lines.

“In Traitors you don’t have your outside life, so you’re completely consumed by it,” she said of filming the show.

“I’m quite an unserious person, so trying to remain serious in that intense situation was hard,” she added. “The only thing you can do in that environment is be yourself and hope it reads well.”

Maya’s “Poker Face”

Maya went on to reveal that her “poker face” was “not great” while filming — indicating she was selected as a Faithful on the show.

Whether Maya has truly spoiled anything remains to be seen, and strict NDAs mean nothing is confirmed.

However, in the hyper-analysed world of The Traitors, a throwaway admission about a “not great” poker face is more than enough to fuel fan theories.

Celebrity Traitors Series 2 Cast

Maya filmed the upcoming second series alongside a stacked cast, including Michael Sheen, Ross Kemp, Richard E. Grant, Miranda Hart, James Acaster, Hannah Fry, Amol Rajan, and many others.

Claudia Winkleman also returned to oversee proceedings at The Celebrity Traitors castle, which is expected to air in October.
