Maura Higgins is officially done with The Traitors.

After making it to the Season 4 finale as a Faithful on the show, losing out to Traitor Rob Rausch, the Love Island alum revealed in a recent InStyle interview that her castle days are behind her.

“No. I don't think game shows are for me,” she said. There's other stuff on my vision board.”

Maura went on to share behind-the-scenes tidbits with InStyle, shedding light on the show’s tough filming schedule.

“There's so much more that goes on in there; the audience only sees a small part," she shared. "Even I have to say to my friends, 'you just don't get TV!'"

No phones meant long, intense days. "We don't have our phones. Some days, we were filming for 16 hours,” she continued. “I was choosing my glam over the extra hour in bed, because obviously I didn't want to have s*** glam with a good outfit. But there were definitely some days where I was like, 'I cannot do this.'"

“It Messes With Your Brain”

The Traitors Season 4 runner-up also explained how filming the hit Peacock reality show “messes with your brain,” adding: “By the time you lie down, you just want to shut off, but a lot of the time you can't shut off. You're overthinking about everything that people are doing around you.”

Maura’s Next Move

While a possible return to The Traitors is off the cards for Maura (for now, at least), she did express interest in another major competition show. “Maybe Dancing with the Stars,” she pondered, hinting that her reality TV days aren’t yet behind her. Watch this space.
