With The Celebrity Traitors Series 2 in full swing, the nation is once again gripped by all the drama and treachery we’ve come to expect from the BBC hit.
The current series averages a huge 15 million viewers per episode, with predictions and behind-the-scenes talk dominating online fan discussion.
New Behind-the-scenes detail
Speaking recently on The Turett podcast, which you can watch and listen to here, The Traitors UK Series 4 star Reece Ward revealed a brand new BTS detail while recalling the banishment of his co-star and Traitor, Hugo.

“I remember when we [the Faithfuls] got rid of Hugo. In the lodgings the next day, I remember seeing him pack his stuff up,” Reece revealed. “I was banging on the window, sticking my middle finger up, and I was like, ‘Get out of here, you big loser!’
When asked by The Turett podcast host, Calum Macdonald, if Hugo waved back, Reece jokingly replied, “No, he didn’t look at me.”
Traitors fans are well aware that cast members don’t sleep at the famous castle during filming and instead stay in individual lodgings
However, Reece’s behind-the-scenes revelation that banished players rejoin the remaining cast (albeit separately) at the same lodgings came as a shock to many.

“Wait, how did u see him? I thought you couldn’t see them [banished players] after they’re gone,” asked one fan on Instagram, referring to the well-documented rule that Traitors players cannot interact with each other once they leave the castle grounds each night.
Although Reece revealed he saw Hugo leaving the lodgings, he clarified this was through a window, and the pair had no interaction.
“Banished players probably sleep the night in their lodgings and have to pack up to leave the day after,” another fan pointed out. “Reece probs saw Hugo leaving out of chance.”
The Celebrity Traitors Series 2 continues on Thursdays and Fridays at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
